Testing workflow update

Spring testing workflow update

This spring we tightened several parts of our app validation flow. The goal was simple: reduce false confidence from short-term payout snapshots and improve cross-month consistency in scoring.

The biggest change is longer observation windows before publishing certain badges. Instead of relying on one positive cycle, we now require repeated payout confirmation where practical. This reduces the chance of overrating temporary performance spikes.

We also separated usability checks from payout checks in our internal notes. An app can be easy to use but still underperform on reliability, and vice versa. Keeping those dimensions distinct produces clearer recommendations.

Another update is stricter evidence organization. We now log payout method, amount, and timing with better structure so month-to-month comparisons are easier. This helps spot subtle degradation earlier.

On the editorial side, we trimmed noisy signals that were not predictive for users. Cleaner inputs mean cleaner output, and cleaner output means less confusion for readers making real decisions.

These workflow changes are not flashy, but they are practical. Better process discipline is what keeps the public list useful over time instead of becoming stale marketing copy.
